Cover Flow
Cover Flow is a three-dimensional user interface being used to sail in its musical library via the small pockets of albums. This one was created by Andrew Coulter Enright and Jonathan del Strother, an independent developer.
Cover Flow is bought by Apple and is integrated into version 7.0 of iTunes, presented at the time of an Apple Event on September 12th 2006. The software developed by Jonathan del Strother, which was available free, can still be downloaded on the MacUpdate site.
The January 9th 2007, Apple announces that the IPhone will integrate the interface Cover Flow. The June 11th, at the time of the opening speech of the conference of the developers (WWDC), Steve Jobs announces then the integration of the interface Cover Flow in the new operating system of Apple, Leopard. New the iPods revealed the September 5th, the nano of third generation, the standard model said classic and new the IPod touch, lay out all of the interface Cover Flow in order to sail among the small pockets of album.
