Couvron-and-Aumencourt
Couvron-and-Aumencourt are a common French, located in the department of the Aisne and the area Picardy.
Geography
Couvron is located at 11 km of Crécy-on-Greenhouse, to 15 km of Laon, to 19 km of Anizy-the-Castle and to 32 km of Saint-Quentin. The access to the has 26 in direction of Saint-Quentin is to 9 km of Couvron. Couvron-and-Aumencourt is served by the Gare of Crépy-Couvron located on the line of Tergnier at Rheims.
History

October 21st 1791: Couvron absorbs Aumencourt and takes its current name.
- 1944 : American soldiers slacken raccoons which were used to them as mascots. The latter since were very well acclimatized to the Forêt of Saint-Gobain.
