Cours after me sheriff

Cours after me sheriff ( Smokey and the Gangster ) is an American film left in 1977. This film highlights the solidarity of the Cibi co.s.

Summary

This film reports the adventure of two truck drivers, Bo Darville, known as L E Bandit (Burt Reynolds) and his fellow-member Cledus Snow known as Snowman or Tom Pouce (Jerry Reed) following a bet considered impossible: to bring back Texas (3  000  km outward journey and return in 28 hours) 400 beer paperboards what is regarded as smuggling with the E. - U..

Bo is first of all made pay by the instigator of the bet a powerful car: a Trans-América. On the way Bandit takes in his car a “young groom” (Sally Field) who left the ceremony of marriage before the " Oui" and the wedding flees. This a little boosted young woman, complains not to have code name CB enthusiast. Soon it will be done, it will be Grenouille . The police force takes them quickly first of all drives out of it in the person of the sheriff Buford T. Justice (Jackie Gleason) which is not other than the " pseudo beautiful-père" of the aforesaid the young groom.

The solidarity of the CB enthusiasts of all mediums, namely road, drivers of hearse, students, prostitutes, drivers young or less young people,… plays his part while delaying and by ridiculing the sheriff and the various police forces of State launched to the continuation of Bandit and Tom Pouce .

To note a brilliant scene of Anthology showing the insertion and the hiding place of Gangster and his trans-américa within a convoy of truck drivers in order not to be seen prosecuting police officers.

This film has two continuations, " You do not make the weight sheriff " ( Gangster 2 ) in 1980 and Gangster 3 in 1983 always with Jerry Reed.
