Cours Sainte Marie de Hann

The Cours Holy Marie de Hann with Dakar is a school of the Archidiocèse of Dakar which was under supervision of the Pères Marists.

International establishment of education to peace, it was the first school to receive the Prix UNESCO of education for peace in 1991.

Organization

It is currently the most important school of West Africa.

Nursery school with the final classes, it receives each day 4.300 pupils of 53 different nationalities and a great social, cultural and religious diversity.

Under the direction of Victor Emmanuel Cabrita - deceased in 2007 - during 33 years, it is directed since September 2005 by Marie-Helene Cuenot.
