The Coupe de France of Robotics (old Cut E=M6 of Robotics ) is a contest organized by association Planet Sciences in collaboration with VM Group, producer of emissions (including, until 2005, the emission E=M6) and the town of the Ferté-Bernard. It takes place every year with the Ferté-Bernard (the Sarthe, 72).

It is about a ludic, scientific and technical challenge where clash autonomous robots which is addressed to teams of young people impassioned (E) S of robotics or having educational projects towards the young people. The robots of the various teams are opposed in true technological matches during 1 minute 30. The rules of the game vary each year (in 2006: " Funny golf"), which imposes the construction of new robots. However, there exist constants: each robot must be completely autonomous (it must have its own energy sources, actuators, sensors and automats), and all the remote controls and external interventions are prohibited during the matches. Constraints of gauge are added to the technical difficulty.

It gathers nearly 180 teams made up of clubs of amateurs, of schools of engineers, IUT, universities, some Lycée S or any other structure wanting to take part in this contest.

Each year, the payment of play is tested during the stay Furobalex then put on line during September. The meeting takes place during May of the following year.

In 2006, the payment was on the topic of the Golf. In 2007, it relates to the topic of the Tri of waste.

With the passing of years, the Coupe de France extended to many countries from Europe, to see world. In 2005, the European meeting (Eurobot) gathered nearly 20 countries, and in 2006, 26 countries were represented in 60 teams at the time of the finale which took place in Italy, with Catane.
