The county of Wayne (Wayne county) is a county of the Missouri to the the United States. The seat of the county is located at Greenville. The county was created in 1818 and was named in homage to the general Anthony Wayne who took part in the American revolutionary war. With the census of 2000, the population consisted of 13.259 individuals.
