The county of Ward (English: Ward County ) is a county located in the west of the State of the Texas at the the United States. It is named in the honor of Thomas Ward, a soldier of the Révolution texane. The seat of the county east Monahans. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 10909 inhabitants.
