The county of Västernorrland ( Västernorrlands Län in Swedish) is a county Swedish located at the north of the country, and whose name means “ Norrland of the west ” in French. It is close to the counties of Gävleborg, Jämtland, Västerbotten, and borders the Gulf of Bothnia.
