The county of Sherman (English: Sherman County ) is a county located in the extreme north of the State of the Texas at the the United States. It is named in the honor of Sidney Sherman, a soldier of the Révolution texane. The seat of the county east Stratford. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 3186 inhabitants.
The county has a surface of: 2391 km ², of which almost totality on the terrestrial surfaces.
