County of Shannon (Missouri)

The county of Shanon (Shanon county) is a county of the Missouri to the the United States. The seat of the county is located at Eminence. The county goes back to 1841 and it was named in homage to a member of the Lewis forwarding and Clark of the name of George F. " Peg-Leg" Shannon. With the census of 2000, the population consisted of 8.324 individuals.
