The Comté of Rockland is a county located in the State of New York, with the the United States, a score of kilometers in the North-West of the town of New York. Its population was of: 286753 inhabitants in 2000. Its chief town is New City. It is about a county mainly périurbain.

Geography

The county of Rockland is just in the north of the border between the New Jersey and the New York, in the west of the Hudson and the south of the county of Orange. It is the smallest county of the State located apart from New York.
