The county of Ontonagon ( Ontonagon County in English) is located in the North-West of the higher peninsula of the State of Michigan, on bank of the Lake Michigan. Its seat is with the Ville of Ontonagon. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 7818 inhabitants.
