The county of Northumberland is a American county of the State of Pennsylvania. With the census of 2000, the county counted: 94556 inhabitants. It was created on March 21st, 1772, starting from the counties of Lancaster, Berks, Bedford, Cumberland and Northampton. The county draws its name from the county of Northumberland in the north of the England. The Siège of the county is located at Sunbury.
