County of Nassau (New York)

The Comté of Nassau (or Nassau County ) is a county of the State of New York, located on Long Island. With the census of 2000, the county was populated of 1.334.544 inhabitants, for an immersed surface of 1,173 km ², which carries its density to 1798.5 h/km ². Nassau County is also according to same the census the second county richest of the State, behind Manhattan, but also the richer sixth of the country.
