County of Montmorency
The county of Montmorency ( Montmorency County in English) is in the North-East of the lower peninsula of the State of Michigan. Its seat is with Atlanta. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 10315 inhabitants.
The county is named in the honor of the Maison of Montmorency, which was influential in the history of the News-France (which includes Michigan).

The county has a surface of: 1457 km ², of which: 1418 km ² on the terrestrial surfaces.
