The county of Kent (in English: in Kent County ) is a county located in the north of the State of the Texas at the the United States. The seat of the county east Jayton. The county is named according to Andrew Kent, a soldier of the Siège of Fort-Alamo. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 859 inhabitants.

The county has a surface of: 2339 km ², of which: 2337 km ² on the terrestrial surfaces.
