County of Kearny

The county of Kearny is one of the 105 counties of the State of the Kansas, with the the United States. It was founded the 20  March 1873 under the name of county of Kearney. Its dissolution is decided in 1883 and its territory is divided between the counties of Hamilton and Finney. It is reorganized in its borders of origin in 1887 and is organized the 27  March 1888. It was named in homage to the general Philip Kearny.
