County of Houghton
The county of Houghton ( in Houghton County in English) is located in the North-West of the higher peninsula of the State of Michigan, on bank of the lake Supérieur. Majority of the county east in the peninsula of Keweenaw. Its seat is with the Ville of Houghton. According to the census of 2000, population has is of 36.016 inhabitants.
