County of Hood
The county of Hockley (English: Hockley County ) is a county located in the north-center of the State of the Texas at the the United States. It is named in the honor of John Bell Hood, a general of the States confederated of America. The seat of the county east Granbury. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 41100 inhabitants.
The county has a surface of: 1131 km ², of which: 1092 km ² on the terrestrial surfaces.
