County of Have
The county of Have was one of the counties constitutive of the Duché of Normandy.
Very early, this county was entrusted to family members ducal, and one quotes as of 996 Rollonide Godefroi de Brionne († 1015), count de Brionne and of Have, wire bastard of Richard Without-Fear. Are wire Gilbert de Brionne († 1040), tutor of William the Conqueror succeeds to him, but loses the county with the profit of Guillaume Ier of Have († 1058), count of Have, other wire of Richard Without-Fear. The dynasty of Have had this walk of the duchy until 1246, date of died of Alix, countess of Have, who made pass the Norman county in the house of Brienne.
Several house princely will have the county until the Revolution, the families of Lusignan, Artois, of Burgundy, of Clèves, of Lorraine, then finally of Orleans.
