County of Harney

The county of Harney (English: Harney County ) is a county located in the south-east of the State of the Oregon at the the United States. It is named in the honor of William Selby Harney, an officer of the US Army. The seat of the county east Burns. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 7609 inhabitants. Its Population density is lowest among American counties outside the Alaska.
