County of Ector
The county of Ector (English: Ector County ) is a county located in the west of the State of the Texas at the the United States. It is named in the honor of Matthew Ector, a general of the Armée with the confederated States during the American Civil War. The seat of the county east Odessa. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 121123 inhabitants.
The county has a surface of: 2335 km ², of which: 2334 km ² on the terrestrial surfaces.
