County of Dutchess
The county of Dutchess is located at the the United States in the south of the State of New York. It forms part of the area Grand New York. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 295146. It was named in the honor of Marie of Modena, woman of the future Jacques II of England, when they were the duke and the duchess ( dutchess in English) of York.
