The Comté of Down (in Gaelic Contae Year Dúin ) is one of the six Counties which forms the Northern Ireland. It belongs to the province of Ulster. Its Superficie is of 2448 km ² for nearly 454.000 inhabitants. Its capital is Downpatrick. It is inside the County that one finds the point more in the east of the island of Ireland (Burr Point). The County is surrounded of the County of Antrim in north, Armagh in the west and by the Irish Sea in the east.
