County of Dickens

The county of Dickens (English: Dickens County ) is a county located in the north of the State of the Texas at the the United States. It is named in the honor of J. Dickens (its first name is unknown), a soldier texan died in the Siège of Fort-Alamo. The seat of the county east Dickens. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 2762 inhabitants.

The county has a surface of: 2344 km ², of which: 2342 km ² on the terrestrial surfaces.
