County of Denton

The county of Denton (English: Denton County ) is a county located in the north of the State of the Texas at the the United States. It is named in the honor of John Denton, Pasteur, lawyer, and soldier texan. The seat of the county east Denton. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 432976 inhabitants.

The county has a surface of: 2481 km ², of which: 2301 km ² on the terrestrial surfaces.
