The county of Delta ( Delta County in English) is located at the south of the higher peninsula of the State of Michigan, on bank of the Lake Michigan. Its seat is with the Ville of Escanaba. According to the census of 2000, its population is 38.520.

The county has a surface of: 5158 km ², of which: 3030 km ² on the terrestrial surfaces.
