County of Dai
The county of Dai (代县; Pinyin: Dài Xiàn) is a subdivision of the province Shanxi in China. It is placed under the administrative jurisdiction of the city-prefecture of Xinzhou.
History
By its strategic geographical position, in fact its proximity of the Great wall, the town of Daixian (formerly Daizhou) occupied an important point of military force and this, since the dynasty of the Han.

The population of the county was of: 200419 inhabitants in 1999.
