County of Cardwell
The county of Cardwell is a Zone of local government in the north of the Queensland in Australia.
The county includes/understands the cities of:
- Tully,
- Cardwell,
- Bilyana,
- Cardstone
- Carmoo,
- Euramo,
- Feluga,
- Hull Heads
- Jumbun,
- Kennedy,
- Murray upper,
- Murrigal
- Silky Oak,
- South Mission Beach,
- Tully Heads and
- Wongaling Beach.
The county contains also a certain number of islands: Dunk Island, Goold Island, Hinchinbrook Island.
The economy of the area is based on the culture of the Canne to sugar, the Banane and tourism.
