County of Brevard

The Comté of Brevard is a county located in the state of Florida. Its population was of: 476230 inhabitants in 2000, it was estimated at: 510000 in 2005. The official chief town of the county east Titusville although all its administration is present at Viera. No change was however carried out since 1894 as for this situation.

Geography

According to the office of census the county has a surface of 4.032 km ², of which 1.395 km ² are located in water (that is to say 34,60% of entire surface), in major part in Indian River Lagoon.
