The county of Boone is a county of the the United States located in the State of Virginia-Western. In 2000, the population was of: 25535 inhabitants. Its seat is Madison. The county owes its name with Daniel Boone, exploring American. It was created in 1847 with parts of the counties of Kanawha, and Logan.
