The county of Aroostook is a county of the State of the Maine to the the United States. The seat is Houlton. According to the census carried out in 2000, its population is inhabitants, of which 22,37% use the French language at the house.
Geography
Surface of the county east of: 17686 km ², of which: 17279 km ² are of ground. It is the second larger American county located at the east of the river the Mississippi (after the county of Saint-Louis of the Minnesota).
