The country of OZ is an imaginary world divided into four regions, controlled by a Monarchie. He was invented in 1900 by L. Frank Baum to be the place of action of his novel the Magician of OZ. Baum published fourteen novels on the whole, series that Ruth Plumly Thompson continued after its death.
