Country of Large Pau

The Pays of Large Pau is located in the department Yrénées-Atlantiques and the area Aquitaine. It was formed following the Loi Voynet which makes country true a Territoire of project, based on a local will. It includes/understands:

the the Community of agglomeration of the Pau-Pyrenees

8 communities of communes:

the the Community of communes of Thèze;
the the Community of communes of the canton of Arzacq;
the the Community of communes of Luy-to-Béarn;
the the Community of communes of Miey de Béarn;
the the Community of communes of Luy-Gabas-Souye and Lées
the the Community of communes Gave and Coteaux;
the the Community Ousse-Gabas;
the the Community of communes of Vath Vielha;

and 2 isolated communes: Labatmale and Pontacq.
