Country of Feuillardiers
The country of Feuillardiers is a natural Région of France located in the department of the High-Vienna, on the cantons of Saint-Mathieu, Oradour-on-Vayres, Saint-Laurent-on-Gorre and Châlus.
It is completely located in the Regional natural park Périgord the Limousin.
Its name is due to the trade of feuillardier, an old profession which consists of the size and the work of wood, in particular of chestnut, very present in the area.
It is bordered in the east by the Pays Arédien, in north by the valley of Vienna, in the west by the department of the Charente and the country of Charente Limousine and in the south by the department of the the Dordogne and the country of the Périgord Vert.
