Character U+17D3 (Khmer sign bathamasat ) was with the departure envisaged like part of the symbols of lunar date. The use of this character is strongly discouraged in favor of the new complete whole of symbols of lunar date: to see U+19E3 (Khmer symbol bathamasat ) and following in the block Khmer Symbols.

Character U+17D2 (Khmer sign coeng ) is a control of format indicating that the letter khmère coded after this sign should be returned in subscribed form. The posted form when the sign is not followed of a letter khmère is arbitrary, and signs it is normally not posted itself.

Note : the diacritic U+17C1 with U+17C3 must imperatively appear on the left of the letter which they modify (if not that would cause of serious problems of interpretation to the reading). The diacritic U+17BE with U+17C0, U+17C4 and U+17C5 are composed of two parts on the left and on the right. Many systems and navigators correctly do not order these diacritic with posting. The installation of police forces khmères integral this rearrangement should regulate the problem.
