It was built in 1748 per Philippe de Landas, count de Louvignies. It passed by alliance to Holy-Aldegonde-Noircarmes, then in Louvencourt.
The current owner has undertaken to restore it for a few years.
The inhabitants of the castle attended the mass in a platform giving on the chorus of the church.
