the church of Saint-Aignan was formerly located on the ground called today " Cure". In very bad condition, it was demolished in 1790, probably just after the death of the priest of Couargues Léonard Seguin, whose tomb stone and burial were found on the spot in 1972. The old cemetery (3 ares), with the foot of the church, was sold in 1834 to Philippe Constant Simon-Larochère, adviser listener living Bourges.
