Cosmic noise

The cosmic noise is a Bruit which originates in the outside of the terrestrial atmosphere.

Explanations

The characteristics of the cosmic noise are similar to those of thermal Bruit. The frequency of the cosmic noise is estimated slightly with the top of 15 MHz. These measurements were taken by pointing the antenna not only towards the Sun but also worms certain other areas of the Ciel similar to the center of the Galaxie.

Problem of the cosmic noise in the radioastronomic observations

In Astrophysical, more particularly in the Observation S made in Cosmology, one uses types of Télescope S which collect electromagnetic Ondes coming from electromagnetic Sources in the Univers far away from the Solar system: Radio telescope S, Space telescopes.

In the case of sources which are apart from the Visible spectrum, one records the electromagnetic Ondes using Ordinateur S. the Signaux is generally very weak, and is drowned in the “ noise ” of the Univers.

The integration of the recording S.A. for effect to make decrease the “ cosmic noise ” by Statistical effect, without affecting the Signal, since the same source is always pointed.

The recordings Numérisé S must be cumulated over periods of rather long Temps (often several months), in order to make decrease the “noise” of the Univers, and to reveal the amplitude of the Signal coming from the electromagnetic Source.
