Cosmetic
A cosmetic is a substance or a preparation intended to be put in contact with various surface parts of the Human body, in particular the skin, the hairs and capillary, the external bodies, the Dent S and the mucous membranes, in sight, exclusively or mainly, to clean them, protect, scent, maintain in good state the human body, to modify its aspect or to correct the odor of it. The cosmetics are products of Hygiène and embellishment.
In a more general way, cosmetic is to it the whole of the processes and treatments intended to embellish. One speaks about cosmetic work when something must undergo a treatment of presentation without being modified.
History
The cosmetics are almost as old as the man. The prehistoric men probably practiced the body Peinture.
