A cosmétotextile is an article Textile containing a substance or a preparation intended to be released durably on the various surface parts of the human body, in particular on the skin, and asserting one (or of) property (S) particular such (S) that cleaning, perfume, modification of aspect, protection, maintenance in good state or correction of body odors.

This emergent technology uses microcapsules which are fixed on fabric.
