Corum Jhaelen Irsei

Corum Jhaelen Irsei is a character of fiction invented by the English writer Michael Moorcock. He is the hero of a cycle of fantasy the Books of Corum.

Corum is an incarnation of the Champion eternal of Moorcock just like Elric de Melniboné and Dorian Hawkmoon. Its books are strongly inspired by the Celtic antique mythology, particularly the second trilogy. Corum itself is the last of a called old race Vadhagh, which was decimated by a new race Mabdens (a name to define the mankind). Heir without kingdom, Corum Jhaelen Irsei, is the prince with the scarlet dress.
