Cortina d\' Ampezzo
Cortina d' Ampezzo is a common of the Province of Belluno in Venezia in Italy in the Plaine of Po.
Geography
The city is located at 1 210 m of altitude, in the middle of the Dolomites. Close to the famous station, the Piccolo Lagazuoi, of which the summit reached 2 778 meters, is very required mountaineers because of its walls abuptes. The Dolomite, calcareous rock, is made iridescent of pink in the twilight of the sun of winter.
History
Cortina d' Ampezzo accommodated the Winter Olympics of 1956. Those of 1944 were to be held there, but were deferred because of the Second world war.

The luxury hotels and the seniority of the station make of it a place snuffed by fortunate customers. The main street, Corso Italia, is bordered of shops of prestige.
