Corticoid

The corticosteroids or corticoids are Hormone S natural Stéroïde S secreted at the human beings by the corticosuprarenal Glande. This Gland produced:
- the Glucocorticoïde S (Cortisone, hydrocortisone, Prednisone) which have an action on the Métabolisme protidic and glucidic;
- the Minéralocorticoïde S (Aldostérone, Corticostérone, Désoxycortisone) which act on the regulation of the Eau and of the salt in the body (and retention of water Sodium, elimination of Potassium);
- finally, the Androgène S, which have a role in the development of the sexual characters .
In general, when one speaks about “corticoids”, it is about Glucocorticoïde S, natural or of synthesis.
