Corte

Corte (delivery “Corte”; Corti in Corsican Langue) is a common department of the Haute-Corse and Corsica territorial collectivity , which has the row of sub-prefecture.

Geography

Corte is in the center of Corsica, 70 kilometers of Bastia and 85 kilometers of Ajaccio.

The city is located at 450 meters of altitude, it is in bottom of two valleys very beautiful and known in Corsica: the valley of the Tavignanu and the valley of Restonica.
