Corpuscle of Ruffini
The corpuscles of Ruffini are Mécanorécepteur S (sensors) encapsulated subcutaneous fabrics of connectivity and articulations. They consist of ovoid capsules whose sensitive fibers are finished by collateral nodes. They are responsible for the detection of pressures on the skin and for the stretching of the skin. They are fibers with slow adaptation (between stimulus and answer, the time is slow, but the answer lasts until the end of the stimulus), informing over the pressure, its intensity and its duration.
