History
A broken up corpse is found on board a Belgian cargo liner making stage in Richmond. In spite of a meticulous autopsy, Kay Scarpetta manages to determine neither the identity of dead nor the causes of the death. Only evidence: a fair tattooing and hairs.Still haunted by the death of Benton (Combustion), ridges some with the intrigues of rival colleagues, Kay, flanked of its faithful Marino, and always near to Lucy, his/her niece, launches out in an investigation which will carry out it in France, of the Lyons offices of Interpol to the mortuary of Paris, before bringing back it to Virginia where waits a monstrous killer, the Werewolf.
