Corona (California)
Corona is an American city Comté of Riverside in California located in the Grand Los Angeles. The population of the city is considered at 144.274 inhabitants in 2004 distributed on a surface of 91,1 km ².
The town of Corona was founded in 1886 in full boom of the culture of the Citron and benefitted from its advantageous situation at the bottom of the canyon of the river Santa Anna, with the only collar to cross the Santa Anna Mountains. The name of the city comes from the specific measure of the streets, a standard cutting surrounded by a circular boulevard. Remained until the years 1980 very rural, Corona urbanizes and is industrialized much since.
