Corner-on-Pail

Corner-on-Pail is a common French located in the department of the the Moselle in Lorraine. Its inhabitants is called Cydogniens.

Famous characters

The family of Curel (cf François de Curel) was installed in the castle of Corner-on-Pail. This castle was partially destroyed during the Second world war. The owner chose, probably for financial reasons, not to restore it and, on the contrary, to even demolish it. Today there remains about it only the enclosing wall, two turns and the vault.

Other seigneuriales families also resided at it, like the families of Wendelet and Rosières.
