Corinne Bailey Rae is a Chanteuse English E born the February 26th 1979 with Leeds. She started by singing in the churches then polishes her style to become one of the revelations Soul 2006 (elected Sound off 2006 by the site of BBC News).
Biography
Corinne Bailey Rae was born with Leeds, West Yorkshire, in England of a father Indien and an English mother . She has two little sisters. As of childhood, it starts to sing in the churches and a choral society Baptist. Its chief of choral society offers his first Electric guitar to him déclanchant his desire for composing. It follows a traditional formation of Violon but listening Led Zeppelin…It founds its first group, Helen, at the fifteen years age, groups which will obtain a certain notoriety on the exigente local scene, signing a contract aec the label Roadrunner Records. However, the pregnancy of the bass player puts an end to the group.
It is registered in English literature at the university of Leeds and works at side in a club of vocal Jazz which will give the opportunity to him to go up on scene. It then composes its own songs, before signing at EMI in spring 2005.
